Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Scholarships students must maintain 2.75 GPA and offer tuition coverage. The Rhode Island Foundation administers the Michael P. Metcalf Memorial Fund and the Christine T. Grinavic Adventurer’s Fund to support college students seeking transformative learning experiences. Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for High School Seniors offers up to \$10,000 to a full-time student pursuing their college education, be a US citizen or permanent resident, be Pell Grant-eligible, and be a diverse candidate or be from an underserved community. Hearthstone Housing Foundation Scholarship Fund offers $5,000 to a student who must demonstrate financial need, live in Hearthstone Housing Foundation property or in a county where a Hearthstone property is located. It’s My Heart New England CHD Awareness Scholarship offers \$1,500 to a high school senior or enrolled college student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, pursuing their college education in a school located in the United States; and, not having been awarded the IMHNE CHD Scholarship in the last two years. Bruce and Marjorie Sundlun Scholarship offers $2,000 to students who are low-income single parents and who are Rhode Island residents. The Corning Glass Works Scholarship is a financial aid program associated with Corning Incorporated and related glass science and engineering education initiatives. The National Ocean Scholar Program offers a varied amount to high school seniors who participate in the NOSB at least once during their high school career. The Rhode Island Independent Contractors Scholarship is offered by the Rhode Island Independent Contractors & Associates (RIICA) to support students pursuing postsecondary education or vocational training. The scholarship is available to children, grandchildren, members, and spouses of RIICA members who are attending an accredited college, university, or trade school. Donald F. Lyons Scholarship is awarding $1,452. MacColl Johnson Fellowships varies based on different majors in the arts annually, rotating for composers, writers and artists. The website mentions which major gets the annual award. The deadline is August 14th. Apply here.

Helen Forman ‘34 Endowment for Special Talent Scholarship is awarding $9,047.67 to cover full tuition to Rhode Island College. Applicants must be a Music, Theatre, or Dance major. The deadline is August 25th.  More information here.

Bicho Family Endowed Scholarship is offering four awards of $1,084.50 one for each concentration. Applicants must be an undergraduate in their sophomore, junior, or senior year as a Music major. In addition, the applicant must be either a keyboard player; a string player (violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar or harp); a brass, wind or percussion player; or a vocalist. Alumni Association Endowed – Alumni Children Scholarship is awarding $2,000 to a child or grandchild of Rhode Island College (RIC) graduate, enrolled full-time at the college. The United States Senate Youth Program in Rhode Island is a prestigious leadership and scholarship program for outstanding high school juniors and seniors interested in public service and government. Administered through the Rhode Island Department of Education, the program selects two student delegates each year to represent Rhode Island during Washington Week in Washington, D.C. ASHRAE Scholarship offers between $3,000-$5,000. The requirements are having a GPA of a 3.0, students must be pursuing a bachelor of science or engineering and the school must have an ASHRAE branch. The deadline is December 1st. Learn more here.

NEBHE Tuition Break Program offers a varied amount to students  who are eligible for the RSP Tuition Break when they enroll in an approved major or program. More information here.

The Sweet Feet Foundation Scholarship offers $10,000 to a student who  must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must be from Florida, Wisconsin or the New England Area to apply (one student in each state will be chosen). All students receiving scholarships from The Sweet Feet Foundation are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are required to do so on an annual basis. University of Minnesota National Scholarship offers a varied amount to students who submit a complete application for freshman admission by either the Early Action (November 1) or Regular (January 1) application deadlines. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Learn more here.

University of Alabama Out Of State Scholarship  Students applying to the University of Alabama (out of state) can have the chance to win scholarships to the University of Alabama just through regular admission. The deadlines are December 16th for the Spring semester and  May 1st for the Summer/Fall semester. Apply here.
